Answer

✓ for every organisation, both the structure and culture are equally important. Though these two dimensions are independent, but have greater influence on each other. Structure refers to the organisational model, that involves flow of activities, at different levels of management, execution, and reporting, that are formed to achieve common goals. Culture comprises of the values, beliefs, experience, work pattern, etc, that defines an organisation, it's working and environment.

Both of these dimensions are necessary to keep the sustainability of the firm, because, a structure when formulated, provide support to build culture, depending on the levels and framework, authorities and work requirements, that frames work patterns, values, set examples and imply on every member, to follow what is directed to them. In return, culture also brings transformations in the structure, and improvise it to be competitive, adapt new cultural values, whenever necessary and promote flexibility.

It is crucial to establish structure prior to culture, Because, an organisation must have a structure, that defines the flow of activities, authorities and levels of management, that can support to build up a strong culture, contributing to reach success and grow the firm.
