5 days ago Michael LaMarque Teamwork and collaborative writing Having been an athlete and part of a team the majority of my life, I try to bring the values of teamwork in to all aspects of my life. Most recently I see these values at play in my career. At work I do not tell my employees that they have to do something to achieve a certain goal without an explanation. I attempt to be open and make the goal a group goal that people want to achieve. If people have ideas about how to best achieve the goal, I always strongly consider them and often embrace the idea. As far as collaborative writing goes I have not had much experience in working or academic careers. For the most part I would say that I have had the most exposure to single author writting. That being said I have often used a reviewer or been a reviewer.

Teamwork is certainly very important at every point of life be it education or career or sports or even life. It is a good move to include everyone of the team and make the task or a goal a team goal . It would certainly give best results. SIngle author writing gives the views of a single person as an individual and it might contain some biased points which the author believes to be true but might not be true in general. Such problems can be eliminated by collaborative writing which gives scope to have various opinions and get a common idea .
