5 days ago Anisha Sherchan session 2 In this company, the salespeople works for commission. However, they only get commission when the customers asks for a certain salesperson. So, if the salesperson who was asked by the customer isn't present at the time and another salesperson helped out the customer get what he/she needed in short amount of time If the salesperson who was not working would want the commission to him/her as his/her reasons would be that it is how the company's policies work which he/she is not wrong. It will be hard to compete with something that is a rule in the company and it is a policy that everyone has to follow it. If the salesperson who was working, would also want the commission to him/her as his/her reasons would be that she/he worked hard for it and that it would not be fair to him/her. He/she could also say that the salesperson knowingly did not show up to work because he/she would get the commission either way. In my recommendation, I think the person who worked for it should get the commission but he/she needs to talk to the manager or someone who is in the higher position that can help them out with the situation. For example: I used to work as a salesperson but I was not officially a salesperson. I knew how to do the job so they would often ask me to cover for salespeople and I would not get the commission as I was suppose to. I started keeping track of how many sales I made and I showed it to my manager. She said that she will pay me for my commission as I was covering for someone else which she did. I think that in this kind of situation, we need to talk to someone who can help us

It should be the salesperson who did the job to get the commission. The rules of the company must be changed so that hard work will not go wasted and the actual person gets the credit. It can provide some rewards or bonus for the people whom the customers ask for but they cannot deny the people who worked hard even when the client is not theirs'. So the person who provided the services must be the one to get the commission.
