Protein that can result from the expression of recombinant DNA within the living cells are called Recombinant proteins.

Recombinant protein differs from engineering protein in that the recombinant protein results from artificial methods in test tube. Whereas the engineering protein results from normal biological process by remixing of existing DNA sequences in essentially all organisms.
