The specific activity of the enzyme is 20 micromol per min per mg of protein.

That is in one minute, the enzyme will consume 1 mg of protein to produce 20 micromol of the product.

If we have 2 mg of protein, the enzyme will produce 20 X 2 = 40 micromol of product in 1 minute.

In 2 minutes, the enzyme will act on 2 mg of protein to produce 40 x 2 = 80 micromol of product.

Therefore, the answer is 80 micromol.
