There are a lot of things that are taken into consideration such as venue, target audience, budget, etc. The first example is the physical environment of the event. Each space is altered specifically for a certain event. Whether that means choosing a rectangular table over a round table or have a podium or riser for the presentation. It is completely open to what will best please the client and the attendees. Along with that is room design Can the audience even hear the speaker from the podium? If the audience cannot hear the speaker, then there would be no point in having one. Another example that goes along with that is communication. The way the content or information moves between the speaker and the audience. As Professor Rosen said, people will remember if the sound is bad but they won't notice if they are good. It is important to remember that louder is not always better. You want to be able to not only hear a speaker but hear your friend sitting across from you. Along with the room design, we want to make sure that people are completely comfortable in our event. We spoke a lot in class about not having our attendees experience anxiety in our environment Anything that will make their experience less stressful is what we want for our event Overall, event design is so important and is a new blank canvas for each and every event

dear student, you make an interesting point that event design is like a black canvas because i think that too when we organize an event we arrange things according to the objective of the event.we make all the arrangements which would suit the environment, ambience of the event. For example- a wedding event is required absolutely different setups like tables, flowers, aisles, chairs than the event of business party.

We can use that black canvas and draw out our imagination on that which would comfort the eyes of viewer. say we can organize tables in such a manner that guests can took comfort and does not feel hesitated to move from one area to another. there are many things which we can do to please guests in events because our imagination on that blank canvas is like sky is the limit.

It is interesting is use event designs like Black canvas which shows artistic and creative thinking of student.
