Answer #1

Although the common practice followed by people would dictate their actions with the course of comparing a person with their own set of beliefs and values, forming a management background, I make sure to learn about the cultural background of the individuals I meet with. Not only is this helpful in the case of being able to communicate effectively. It provides safety of not accidentally doing something regrettable or something considered to be rude in another’s culture. It gives common ground to compare the different prospects over, as well as allow a better understanding of the outlook of each other through the factor of common understanding and appreciation.
