My most likely action: Think about what you can do to improve employee engagement, then present the plan to the associates who report to you.

This is my responsibility to solved the problem if i have noticed it. Now, after developing a plan by myself i can engage my associates by presenting them the plan for improvement.

My least likely action: Rather than taking about the decline, lead by example and show how engaged you can be with your work.

This is a bad trait. This is not going to solve the problem effectively because by showing how engaged i am will not motivate others to be engaged.
