Answer #1

DNA sequence - TACGTACCGTAGGAT

Answer 13 ) 5 codons

mRNA SEQUENCE - AUGCAUGGCAUCCUA

ANSWER 14) first codon- 5' AUG 3'

Answer 15) anticodon present on tRNA 3' UAC 5'

EXPLANATION

The process of formation of mRNA from DNA is known as transcription. With reference to DNA the mRNA sequence is form. DNA is complementary to mRNA where DNA A ( adenine) is complementary to Uracil (U), DNA thymine ( T ) is complimentary to ADENINE (A), DNA guanine (G) is complimentary to cytosine (C).

mRNA sequence will be read in three set nucleotide sequence known as codons. There are 64 codons present overall. And based on mRNA sequence the peptide is form through the process called translation. Ribosome read the codon and with the help of tRNA which carry amino acid, peptide formation take place. Here in the question AUG is first codon present on the mRNA which code for amino acid methionine and it is also known as start codon. There are three universal stop codon which are known as UGA, UAG and UAA. The presence of these codon within sequence lead to stop signal during translation.
