RNA is also transcribed in 5'-3' direction.

2. The top strand (A) serves as the template strand for the transcription.
The template strand is complementary to the mRNA

3. The -10 consensus sequence is located upstream to the transcription start site = 5

4. The template DNA sequence: 5'-ATGAACTTAAGCTATTGA-3'
The mRNA sequence: 5'-AUGAACUUAAGCUAUUGA-3'
The amino acid sequence: Met-Asn-Leu-Ser-Tyr
Number of amino acids = 5

5. The second amino acid = Aspargine

6. Third codon = 5'-UUA-3'
Anticodon = 5'-UAA-3'
