The social skills a young child could learn when in a playgroup are

1. Communication- The child will develop good communication skills, develop skills to express verbal and nonverbal cues, develop skills in communicating to the group, able to concentarate for a quiet long time.

2. Problem solving or conflict resolution skills- The child develops skills in resolving the conflicts which is arising unexpectedly which helps to develop good social interaction skills

3. Empathy- Helps to develop concern to everyone's feelings, develops understanding and caring behavior and to do well to others

4. Emotional control- Helps the child to control the positive and negative emotions when they win or lose  the game respctively.

Two ways could help Carly's social skills:

1. Social Interaction- Carley would learn to interact with society by interacting with teachers, classmates and other fellow mates in the school. He would be noticing other children and may modify his behaviour or imitate others behaviour, improves his language skills and learns the unseen rules of conversation.

2. Emotional control- Carley would improve the skills of emotional control by experiencing the separation anxiety from parents. He will be able to console by himself evenif he loses in a play or game.

Carly's parents can help develop her self esteem by

1. Help to do the childs own things by himself or herself.

2. The things to be done has to be shown and taught first, then encourage the child to do it. Then encourage by giving positive rewards and corrections if needed

3. Praise the child for doing the things by himself or herself.

4. Encourage them to try hard at something

5. Intially the parents can encourage the child to do the things which they are good at

6. Give good care and attention to the child.

The three ways parents can help deal with food refusal are:

1. Offer the food repeatedly which they were refusing. Even if the child is refusing the food in multiple times, don't give up. The tendency to eat will increase, if the child see the same food in various occasions.

2. Do not pressurize the child to eat whatever you offer. Evenif the child eats oly a small portion, praise the child and give a positive praise.

3. Offer food in various forms. The same food can be offered in various forms, or can be tried with various combinations. Example. The raw vegetables can be offered in various shapes or with different sauces

The three ways parents can encourage good behavior in young children:

1. As a parent, be a good role model to the child. The young children have a tendency to imitate the parents or caregivers

2. Give positive reinforcements or rewards for a good and pleasing behaviour in the child.

3. Keep up the promises and create a pleasent and peaceful environment at home to encourage the child to behave well .
