Answer #1

The objectives and tone of both the parties involved in a negotiation are really important. Every negotiation would have a set of objectives to achieve for which the negotiation actually happens. Without a proper objective, the exact result or outcome of negotiation cant be extracted. The whole process of negotiation is all about making both the objectives of the parties get compliments to each other and come to a point where both the parties agrees to each other's objectives. Hence precise and firm objectives are important factors in solving a negotiation in an effective manner.

The way in which both the parties convey their matters in a negotiation is called the tone of the negotiation. One should always convey the matters in a proper and good tone instead of adopting a harsh tone for negotiation. Hence both parties must try to negotiate in a calm tone. The role of tone in a negotiation is very important because it is this tone factor that determines whether a negotiation goes in a calm way or end up in a fight.

Hence both the objectives and tone of both the parties in a negotiation are very important.
