1. His diagnosis was hypertension. so his blood pressure was more than 140/90 mmHg. according to JNC classification the systolic pressure should be greater than 140mmHg and the diastolic pressure greater than 90 mmHg is reffered as hypertension.

  • Take the medications regularly without missing.
  • Take elevator instead of using steps.
  • Try to perform warmup exercises regularly.
  • Take the medications along with you while going outside of the house.
  • Try to walk daily and do not jog.
  • If you feel any chest discomfort then immediately take the suggestion from the physician.
  • Perform regular blood pressure check up's.
  • Reduce the salt intake in your diet. that is take 2,300mg of sodium per day.
  • Take foods with potassium, magnesium and calcium to decrease the blood pressure.
  • Take the food with whole grains, fruits and vegetables.
  • Take low fat dairy products and also include fish and nuts in your diet.
  • Dont eat too much of banana's in aday it can cause hypotension.
  • Dont take all the food at atime.take 8-9 times in a day instead of single time.
  • change your life style like dont sit at the same place for long time try to walk inbetween the working hours.
  • if you have ahabit of smoking and alcohol consumption. then, quit smoking and dont take more than one peg.
