B- GTP hydrolysis can terminate the signalling

A group of proteins called Regulator of G protein signalling (RGSs), act as GTPase-activating proteins (GAPs), are specific for Gαsubunits. These proteins accelerate the hydrolysis of GTP to GDP, thus terminating the transduced signal.
