Anxiety can be learned through

  • Classical conditioning
  • Operant conditioning
  • Observational learning

Classical conditioning:- phobias are often classically conditioned by having just one bad experience with a situation.

Example:- How could someone develop a classically conditioned fever of a dog.

Operant conditioning:- Anxiety can be operantly conditioned by being reinforced .

Observational learning:- Anxiety can be learned through observing how others respond to stimuli.

Cognitive theory:-

The mental action of process of acquiring knowledge and understanding through thought experience and the sense.

Anxietyis the state of uneasiness confusion and uncertainty about the outcomes of situations. Anxiety disorders the comprises the group of disorders where anxiety is either the main symptom or is a result of trying to cope with maladaptive behaviors.

Cognitive theory is most validity so the solve the anxiety problems.
