How would you apply these resolutions (Win-Lose, Lose-Lose, or Win-Win) in everyday life? How effective do you think these resolutions would be in a professional environment?
Win-win, lose-lose, and win-lose are the situational aspects
applicable in everyday life as well as professional
experience.
Win-win outcomes occur when both parties think that they have got
what they desire. The integrative bargaining process helps to
achieve win-win results through cooperation and collaboration. In
everyday life, when a conversation between two people makes both of
them happy, then it can be described as a win-win situation. In
professional life, win-win situations occur when two negotiators
get benefits from the deal.
The win-lose situation results when one party perceives a positive
outcome, and another party gains a negative outcome from the
negotiation. In everyday life, when a person gains from another
person and gives negative feedback to that person, then the
win-lose situation is counted. In professional life, the
distributive bargaining process ends with win-lose outcomes. The
win-lose situation indicates competition between two parties.
Lose-lose situations occur when all the parties end with worse
results. In professional life or business, lose-lose situations are
rarely seen. However, it is often observed in everyday life where
both the person cannot get benefits from each other. However, in
business, a lose-lose situation is intentionally invited by both
parties to maintain a cordial relationship between two groups or
parties.
