The help desk main role is to provide the services for the people. It might be a person sitting at the desk or it might be the software used on device to get the information or to resolve the queries.

In university the services like information about classes, student's , lecturers and professors and the schedules etc lioe that.

The help desk helps to everyone in a way that by giving the answers to their queries. For example if a student doesn't no the schedule he may get that from help desk or any other students related information like attendance,past results ,id etc like that.

Also we can get the information about university and the schedules of meetings, conferences and more etc like this.
