Adventious lung sounds are abnormal lung sounds. They can be identified by different kinds of sounds like crackles,wheezes etc.It is necessary to understand pathophysiology of variois lung sounds generation for better understanding of kind of disease that the patient is suffering from.

The sounds from lungs are termed as breath sounds. They can be either normal or abnormal.It has three characters like frequency, intensity and quality which are used to identify sounds.

Abnormal sounds or unrecognition of sounds indicates problems such as inflammation,obstruction,infection,asthma,fluid in lungs.
