Psychologists consider the 5 basic dimensions to personality.The five are, extraversion, agreeableness,openness,conscientiousness and neoroticism.Openeness, is experience to openness,unusual ideas and experience.The degree of curiosity and preference for variety. Individuals with high openness pursue self actualization.People with low opennnes seek to be close minded.Coscentiousness is a tendency to be organized and dependable,aim for high achievement,considered stubborn at times.Prefer planning than act on spontaneity.Extraversion is when they are high energy level,assertiveness and tend to seek stimulation.High extraversion can be percieved as attention seeking.On the contrary low extraversion can be percieved as aloof.Agreeableness is a tendency to be compassionate and cooperative rather than being antogonistic to others.The person is trustworhty and helpful and well tempered.Neurocitism is the tendency to experience emotions like anxiety,depression and vulnerable.It refers to the degree of emotional stability and impulse control. The profile of my present work requires me to be openness to experience, agreeableness and conscentiousness as my work involves human interaction.
