Answer #1

1.option b) is right choice of this question as in disruptive type of replication all DNA some parts are conserved and some are not. So all the DNA molecules will have each stand made of some N¹⁴ part and some N15 part. So all DNA molecules of daughter will have same density and fall in intemediate and light density. All other option will automatically cancelled.

2) In the prokaryotes to remove RNA primer from lagging strand DNA polymerase I have 5' to 3' exonuclease activity. So option d) is correct choice of the question.

3) Okkazaki fragments will be formed on lagging strand on A and c .Your diagram is not clear. So i have problem in answering because i could not find where is A,B,C and D. But i can clear you that strand which will be formed complentary to upper strand of bubble will have Okkazaki fragments.

4) Eukaryotic have a origin of replication having a size of approximately 100kb . Chromosome 13 have 115 million base pairs that is equal to 115000 killobasepairs.

Therefore approximate number of replication origins= 115000/100= approx 1150

so option d) is correct option of this question.

5) Telomerase enzyme are used to replicate the ends of chromosome. for this they use RNA template. So the best description of their function is RNA dependent DNA synthesis that means option b) is correct choice of question.

6) Replication of prokaryotes is often referred to as theta form of replication as theta like structure is formed during their replication. So option c) theta replication is correct choice of the question.
