A person's mental health can be affected by the following risk factors:

  1. Too much stress
  2. loneliness
  3. lack of funds
  4. lack of proper love and affection
  5. lack of proper medication

One example of physical abuse is a woman being hit by a man. It may impact the relationshio they share and the respect that she has for him. The bonds loose the love and affection if such a demanour happens. Another example of physical abuse is children being hit badly by step mother. These kids grow up with mental disorders and emotional crunches.
