Answer: E. Cells would enter M phase but would not exit mitosis.

M cyclin concentration starts increasing as the cell enters the M phase, especially during Metaphase-anaphase. Once the separation of sister chromatids takes place the M cyclin starts degrading and this causes the exit of the cell from mitosis phase and cytokinesis so when the nondegradable M-cyclin will be present, after chromosome separation it won't degrade and as a result, the cell will not exit the mitosis phase.
