what can you do to try to increase the needed nutrients (increase the energy and protein) to cows without adding a supplement (only using first cut hay)?

The first cut hay is important to increase needed nutrients in cows. The different types of the hay it include legume grass,mmixed (Legume and grass) and also cereal grain straw .the necessary nutrient and energy for the cows abtained from the above sources.

It is very easy to digest and healthy for cow it also include the common varieties hay broke,Timothy,bluegrass,etc.

good legumes hay has higher levels of vitamins A,Calcium and digestible energy .this is good source of energy in cow for nutrition with high levels mineral and proteins .

For the more milk production and feeding strow provides energy and necessary proteins .
