Small intestine is correct option

Small intestine consist of three parts duodenum is the first which receives the chime form stomach and where most of digestion of food takes place and from there the chyme enters jejunum and in this part of small intestine most of food absorption take place. Next the food enters the last part of small intestine which is ileum and in this most of vital nutrients and vitamins (Vit A, Vit B etc) absorption take place.

In large intestine only fluids and salts from indigestible matter are taken up.

Colon functions in movement of food towards large intestine by segmentation process.

In stomach the food is broken down in smaller component by gastric juices and passed into small intestine where majority of digestion process occurs.
