1. A) The above plant is Bougainvillea Plant. The leaves show Reticulate Venation , which is the characteristic feature of Dicot plants. Reticulate Venation shows the network formed by veins and veinlets with repeated branching on the lamina of the leaf.

2 B) Bougainvillea are often massive plants that sprawl into the tops of trees and over buildings. The plant grips onto other plants with its strong thorns. As the Bougainvillea does not need to support its own weight, as a free standing tree an oak does, the Bougainvillea does not have a strong root system.

Reticulate Venation is the characteristic feature of Dicot plants. Dicots or dicotyledonous plants which bear leaves with Reticulate venation. Based on this Reticulate venation , this plant most likely have an Adventatious Root System.It comprises of one main root called Primary root. This root keeps growing throughout the life of plant and it bears lateral roots which in turn bear teritiary roots.
