Answer #1

The difference between Acraniata and Craniata has to do with the presence or absence of a skull or cranium. Organisms that do not have a skull or a distinctive head structure, are classified as Acraniata. Some examples of Acraniata include organisms of the subphylum Cephalochordata, including Lancelets. Conversely, organisms that have a distinct cranium or head structure are classified as Craniata. Examples of Craniata include crocodiles, frogs, fish, dogs, snakes, gorillas, and humans.
