Therefore, for For 20 ml , we require = (40/1000 )* 20 = 0.8 grams

And we need to make 10 pour plates each with 20 ml of agar, so we would require = 0.8 x 10 = 8 grams of the dehydrated medium.

Therefore, 8 grams of the dehydrated medium would be required.
