The statement is false.
The 3 domain system of classification was given by carl woese.
It has three large group of domains which are.
Domain bacteria
Domain archae
Domain eukarya.

It is believed that these three domains have common ancestor.
Moreover the domain archae has more similarity to the domain eukarya than bacteria.
Thus it can be said it was classified broadly in to three domains. And bacteria was not evolved from archae.
The 3 domain classification is mainly done by the structural rRNA .
