The F+ donor bacterial cell which connects to the recepient F- cell through sex pilus, transfers one strand of plasmid DNA to the recepient. The recepient makes strands complementary to the strand transferred by donor and becomes F+ recepient.

The other options are incorrect,

Only in certain circumstances when the transferred plasmid strand find its way into the bacterial genome, the recepient will become HFr strain
