In the question, the frequency of the recessive allele is 30% of population. let us assume that the pupulation is 100. then the frequency of recessive allele is 0.3

now we know that frequency of both recessive and dominant allele is 1

therefore the frequency of dominant allele will be 1-0.3 = 0.7

and the frequency of the homozygous allele will be 0.7 X o.7 which is 0.49

therefore the answer is 0.49

we know thaty blue of the dominant gene and white is the recessive

to manifest the flower in white colour it would require two recessive alleles to come together

now lets find out how many alleles are we looking at

we are experimenting on 200 flowers therefore each flower will have two alleles and therefore total number of alleles under study is 400

now the number of plants that are white are 32. these 32 plants will have 2 alleles each therefore 64 alleles

out of 400, the number of alleles for blus will be 400-64 which is 336

therefore the allele frequency for the blue plant will be = total number of alleles in blue plant/ totall alleles under study

336/400 is 0.84 and when we convert it into percentage we multiply it with 100 therefore the answer is 84%
