Answer #1

3. Molarity of Solution is = molarity of glucose + molarity of albumin protein

= 10 mM + 25 mM = 35mM = 0.035M

Here both glucose ( a sugar ) and albumin( a protein ) don't dissociate in solvent to give ions as the salts do. So the molarity of the solution is the osmolarity. 0.035 is the osmolarity of the solution.

4. Molarity of Solution is = molarity of NaCl + molarity of glucose + molarity of albumin protein

= 50mM + 20 mM + 10 mM

Osmolarity of Solution is = osmolarity of NaCl + osmolarity of glucose + osmolarity of albumin protein

= 2*50mM + 20 mM + 10 mM = 130mM = 0.13 OsM

Here NaCl is a salt which gives 2 ions such as Na+ and Cl- ion in solvent. So its osmolarity is two times of the molarity.

0.13 is the osmolarity of the solution.
