Antibiotics kills or inhibit the cell division by following ways,

1) Antibiotics inhibit cell wall synthesis and kills the microorganisms.

E.g - B-lactum antibiotics

2) Antibiotics inhibit protein synthesis in ribosomes and inhibit cell division, kills microorganisms.

E.g - Tetracyclines, Macrolide antibiotics

3) Antibiotics inhibit the synthesis of DNA & RNA , and kills the bacteria.

E.g - Rifampicin, fluoroquinolons.
