0.5% means 0.5 gram in 100 ml

So in 1 ml safranin would be 0.5/100 = 0.005 gram

So for extra 20 ml safranin required = 0.005 * 20 =0.1 gram

So total safranin required for 120 ml = 0.5 + 0.1 = 0.6 grams = 600 mg
