Answer #1

INTRODUCTION- Proteins are basis of life, act as cellular machines which regulate all activities in all known organism. It is formed of long polypeptide chain of amino acid (formed due to replication of genetic code). Example - Haemoglobin (protein) helps in oxygen transport . Proteins are roughly divided into two categories- 1- SMALLER PROTEIN(contain 50 to 100 amino acid) 2- LARGER PROTEIN(contain more than 100 amino acid) DIFFERENT STRUCTURE OF PROTEINS -: Primary struture of protein is the straight sequence of amino acid . Secondary and Tertiary structure are proteins folded into 3 dimensional shape from linear polypeptide chain of amino acid held together by combination of forces like Hydrogen bond, Ionic interaction, Disulfide bridges and Hydrophobic interactions also called NATIVE CONFORMATION (most active and functional state). Every protein has a unique 3D shape that is suited to its biological function in a living organism DENATURATION OF PROTEIN-: Process of changing of conformation of protein either temporarily or permanently by disrupting these forces. It results in loss of protein activity due to unfolding of protein. Since native form is most soluble in water, to collect proteins in solid form we saturate it in solution by disrupting these forces(Denaturation).

help please PART III: This part has to be done on your own and at the end of your experiments you will have to collect your data to write a labreport. You have to apply a rigorous scientific method by proposing and testing a hypothesis, select variables and design your own controlled experiment to collect data The purpose is to study the effect of denaturation on proteins' function. To this end, you will have to pick three denaturing agents among...
