63. The type of synovial joint present between metacarpal of thumb and carpal is saddle joint.

64. A pivot joint has only one axis of rotation. This permits rotation about one axis. Cylindrical bony process within a circle of bone and ligament.

65. Ball and socket has 3 axis of rotation. It allows forward and backward movement in the saggital plane, lateral or side to side movement along the frontal palne and internal and external movement in the transverse palne.
