Q1. The chromosomal sex for a child with Y chromosome and Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome will be XY that means a boy/male. XY is a universal combination for determination of a male as the female passes X and the male passes Y. Also the AIS is mostly caused due to the faulty gene passed into the progeny by the mother .

Q2. The genitals of such an individual would be in between of a male and female, for example

1. A very small male reproductive organ (P) or an enlarged female reproductive organ (C )( this creates an uncertainty in determining the sex)

2. Partially descended testicles

3. Hypospadias – where the hole through which urine passes out of the body is on the underside of the male reproductive organ (P), rather than at the end.

Q3. If the person grey up to be a transgender male i would tell them to use the male washroom, the reason being as they now have the reproductive organ (P) of a male.
