Strategies to reduce saturated fats in the diet includes-

Purchase lean cut of meat and trim visible fat before consumption.

Eating fried foods or low fat food doesnot reduces the amount of intake of saturated fat in our body. The best way to cut the intake is to eat meat with low fat and high protein content is best for this. The extra white or creamy layer which is visible to you can be removed or trimmed. Saturated fats causes many health related issues like varying cholesterol levels, increased rate of artery blockage and heart attack.Trans fat is edible but increases levels of Low density lipid( LDL) in our body. This risks our health as it increases bad cholesterol in our body.
