Apple as a Company is regarded for its finest quality of products and hence they can command premium pricing for the same. Although the concept of adapting to the Sustainable developments certainly backs their success but it is not a primary determinant of the success. Had the Company not been able to deliver the core services itself to the market, the sustainable development activity, by itself, could have added little value to Apple’s business growth. With regards to quality of service and products offered, Apple Inc is a manufacturing company that is high in quality although their entire manufacturing and designing process is extremely secretive in approach. One cannot really find out how is the designing process or the manufacturing taking place. However, the output of the product itself speaks about its quality. It is said that when the manufacturing process of Apple Inc’s products commence, the designing process does not cease to occur. Apple Inc keeps reiterating the designing element throughout its processing activity such that once the end product is built, it is tested and reviewed by the designing team who again, if need be, redesign the product, to best meet the utility and quality standards of the Company. This entire cycle takes about a month’s time and gets worked again several times during the new product’s life-cycle so as to keep the product updated in the market so positioned in. After the completion of the project, the EPM would access some of the tested devices to the Headquarters for further review. Hence although this entire project of quality management is expensive, the fact that the Company strives for establishing quality control and innovation in the system, goes enough to prove their success.
