  • A- There are eight such cases where we cannot know the amino acid if we know that first two codon.
  • Ex - UUU encodes for Phenylalanine and UUA encodes for Leucine.
  • AUU encode for Isoleucine and AUG encodes for Methionine.
  • UAU encodes for Tyrosine and UAG for a stop codon.
  • CAU for histidine and CAA for Glutamine
  • AAU for asparagine and AAA for lysine
  • GAU for aspartic acid and GAA for glutamic acid
  • UGU for cysteine and UGG for tryptophan
  • AGU for Serine and AGA for arginine.
  • B- In the case of leucine -UUA and CUU.
  • In the case of Serine - AGU and UCU
  • In the case of Arginine AGA and CGU
  • So there are three such cases where we cannot identify the first two codons if we know amino acids.
