Q 11 ans-DNA replication is semi conservative.

because in first generation both strand contains N15 so it has more density so it will sedemented at above bottom.in second generation cells are grown in N14 so in replication process each DNA molecule has one N15 and another is N14.so it will sedements level above first generation because it is lighter than firat generation DNA. In third generation again DNA is grown in N14 medium it will replicated and sedimented at just above second generation.hence this results explains that this is semiconservative replication.

because DNA strands are antiparallel that is one runs in 5' to 3' and another complimentary strand runs in 3' to 5' direction.
