The answer will be 9 ATP.

Explanation: 9 ATP molecules are required to produce one molecule of PGAL. 3 ATP molecules are required during regeneration step & 6 ATP molecules are required during carbon fixation step.

Second Part:

The answer will be 18 ATP.

Explanation: As already stated in previous part that 9 ATP molecules are required to produce one molecule of PGAL. So, (9 x 2) or 18 ATP molecules are required to produce two molecules of PGAL.

Third Part:

The answer will be 36 photons.

Explanation: As 2 photons are required to produce one ATP molecule, so (18 x 2) or 36 photons are required to produce 18 ATP molecules.
