Answer #1

Since the past decades transportation has been the key function in the development of the economy, providing a good quality of life that is desirable by all. The federal government in U.S. has the best transportation system in the world. They have to maintain their capabilities if they wish to continue being the lead in the world.  All the factors that are best for the public should be considered in the formation of the policies. There are several strategies which the government has focused on to meet the challenges of the transport system:

1. Safety: the government is focusing on the health and safety of the public by trying to reduce the casualty and injuries that can be caused by transport.

2. Quick repair: the government ensure to maintain the transportation system well because it will lead to preservation of the transportation infrastructure and increasing more reliability and safety for the public. A good and quick repair will lead to more effective and smooth working of the transportation system.

3. Edge over the others: the government has economic competitiveness because it promotes the transportation policies. It encourages investments that benefits the nation and its citizens.

4. Liveable communities: the government has also focused on the good living communities for the citizens. With the help of better policies of transportation systems and investments, it has increased the services facilities.

5. Environment friendly: because of the environment friendly policies and investments has reduced the harmful emissions and gases produced by the transport leading to an eco-friendly environment.

Unlike the U.S. government our government can also think of taking some steps that will lead to a better life in future. By the use of the latest technologies and planned transportation system our government can also construct a superior transportation infrastructure. They can formulate more policies keeping in mind of how it can save environment. It is difficult to compete with the leader, but we can think of a better system up till now.

Transportation policies should become more performance oriented now a days because this will lead to best results. The policies could include good investment decisions which will focus on the measures of how to fund the transportation system. Investment decision is crucial for any system because it tells that how much and from where we get the money for more development.

Aiming for a well managed transportation system will give the best performances only when the proper targets are set, plans are developed, and the market analysis is done. Also focusing on safe and sound delivery of people from one place to another will lead to good performance results.

Singers, songwriters, inventors, drug companies, manufacturers—they all invent and innovate in the hope of making money. If they knew that the law wouldn’t protect what they came up with, they’d...
