A sequance is geometric when ratio of concecutive terms are equal . here ratio are equal. so this is a geometric sequance . nth term of ageometric sequance with first term a and common ratio r is

\large a_n=ar^{n-1}

here a=8

r is ration between second and first term . so r=64/8=8 so n th term is

\large a_n=8*8^{n-1}=8^n

so answer is

\LARGE \boldsymbol{a_n=8^n}
