2. Discuss your plans for developing formal job descriptions for the employees at the second shop
As a business advisor to Kelvin, the manager at KS cleaner company, the following are the plans that suits the second shop that he intends to open.
As before, the new manager should also invest in prerequisites to the newly shortlisted employees for them to be impacted with great knowledge and skills of the job. This is for the purpose of making them well acquainted with their services and also improve the output of the company at large. The courses that the newly intended employees should undergo should be of great importance regarding their career. Teenagers should be well taught in the better ways of cleaning, ironing, and practicing clothing repair. This will empower them to manage the newly opened shop which opts to outdo the first shop led by the company manager.
The manager should look for someone who is dedicated to the job. The new manager should be hardworking, sociable, entrepreneur and one who understands his employee’s to market the company. He should put their grievances into consideration and work close with the employees to ensure maximum work output for the whole company. The new manager should also be willing to deliver and be honest to his or her customers. He should treat his customers with great respect and provide quality services for them to market the whole shop. Provision of good services will build the brand name of the company meaning that the customers will be referring even the potential customers to the same company because of what they are offering.
The manager should also look for learned employees, like high school leavers and teenagers who are well equipped with knowledge in cleaning. The employees should also be equipped with courtesy and good relations with their customers to promote healthy and smooth running of the business for the benefit of all workers. They should work very close with their customers and deliver quality services to them to secure the company’s reputation. The success of the business is in the hands of the communication between the workers and the customers. When the attitude of the business to the clients in the first place was positive than this will remain unless changed by some mistakes in its operations. The look of the workers shows the face of the company. If they look motivated then it will mean that the company is in that condition but when they look demotivated as they do their duties then it will mean that the company is dying.
The manager should also carry out an interview to choose on the best employees who will perform and deliver diligently. The ones to work in the company should be having the required qualification and the experience, this will help the employee to perform well. This will help production of the company which go higher making more revenues. The interview should not be carried with favour or any manner of corruption for the company to be assured of quality service . Every person should be treated equally without any favours. This ensures quality output to all customers around whereby every customer will be entitled to quality service thus making the company be successful as well.
