Answer #1

Answer a= TAKT Time = (Net Time Available for Production)/(Customer’s Daily Demand)

takt time = 480/60=8 min

This indicates that the workers have to perform each activity in 8 min so that the demand can be fulfilled.

Answer = Tota activity time=4+6+7+2+6+5 =30 min

Minimum number of stations= Total activity time/ takt time = 30/8=3.75 = 4 stations
