Answer #1

Answer:

1. According to information, fat 69g, carbohydrate 174g, and protein 40.9g daily she will get according to day’s meal plan. She would meet the acceptable range for carbohydrate and fat macronutrient only but not the protein macronutrient. Protein macronutrient according to plan she would get only 40.9g whereas the range recommended for protein is 45-263 g per day.

2. Yes, she would lose weight because she needs 2000 cal daily based on her activity level. And she gets only 1344 cal daily according to day’s meal plan. Body stored fuel will meet the rest requirement of the required calories.

3. Considering her family history, if she were to stay on this diet, she would be harmed from this diet. Type 2 diabetes is a metabolic disorder characterised by high blood sugar, so the amount of carbohydrates you take has the major effect on your blood glucose levels after its intake. In this diet plan the amount of carbohydrate is relatively high (174g).
