Analyze a "typical" fast food meal. I will leave it up to you what "typical" means! If you eat fast food, then analyze your normal meal. If you don't eat fast food, then pick what you would imagine is typical.

Analyze the following:

what is in your meal?

what are the ingredients of your meal? Be sure you choose a meal where you can find the full ingredient list. The number of calories, fat, saturated fat, protein, carbohydrate, and sodium found in your meal.

what percentage of the daily recommended allowances this one meal covers for all the above nutrients and sodium... you can use the general daily values or your own requirements based on your diet analysis. For example: If my recommended intake is 2000 calories per day and my meal consists of 1000 calories that are 50% of my total calories “used up” in that one meal.

After you've analyzed your meal, what do you think? Is fast food a good choice and why? Is there a way to make this a better option, or is fast food just a bad idea and why?

Answer #1

Answer: Due to busy schedule people tends to eat junk foods or fast foods as they have no time to prepare food at home. This is the reason that most of the people eat fast food that are easily available. Now adays the fast food meals are available at the restaurant such as combo pack or offers etc. which includes for example, french fries, burger, coke, or fried potato chips etc. Although they are sufficient to fulfill the hunger one's hunger but they are loaded with lots of calories.

Our body needs maximum 1000 calories per day and this is siffsuffic for our daily needs but french fries itself has calories more than 600 calories. These junk foods are not at all healthy as they are not loaded with any kind of nutrients but have lots of carbs and calories, unhealthy fats which increases cholesterol level in the body. This typical fast food are the major reason that people are becoming more prone to diseases. Even grilled sandwiches can be used alternative of these fast foods, but people are fond of the fried things which doesn't have any nutritional values.

In my opinion fast food is not at all a better idea for anyone, it is ok to have once in a month but on daily basis it is very bad idea. People should cook food at home that could be healthy and full of nutrients. These tactic will help people to stay healthy.
