Answer:

1.) Conjugation with Hfr is very much different from others since in case of Hfr, there is transfer of chromosomal gene and not the transfer of plasmid gene. Hence there is always a transfer of gene in same order as it was present in the original chromosome.

2.) Transformation is the process of gene transfer in which the bacteria takes up genetic material (DNA) from the surroundings. This foreign DNA combines with the original DNA of the bacteria. This cell is now called a transformed cell. When these cells divide, the progeny can have genetic material from both i.e. From original DNA or the foreign DNA, and so only half of the progeny will have the alternate allele.
