Why do developing countries have a smaller ecological footprint than less developed countries, chroma why do less developed countries have a bigger ecological footprint that is developed countries

Ecological footprint: a water and biologically productive space or area which is used by individual, group, company, industries and all to generate their products and carry wastes.

In simple word: Human and Groups produce large amount of waste by their regular life activities which is generally known as ecological footprint.

Ecological footprint: developing countries>less developed country> developed country.

The more number of anthropogenic reactions generate huge quantity of biodegradable and nonbiodegradable waste constitutively like plastic waste, metal waste, paper wastes, various polymeric waste, plant waste, animal waste, dyes, chemicals, infectious hospital waste etc. Elemenating out these waste materials from cities and collection of it outside the cities forms mountain of garbage. Biodegradable or water soluble compounds degrades and dissolved respectively. Water soluble compound can lead to formation of toxic or non toxic compounds or by-products. Non Biodegradable compound or material can persist upto hundreds to millions of years.

A country can do two things:

Low amount of waste generation which is toxic or non degradable.Treatment of these waste materials by doing various waste treatment processes.

Part 1 answer: developing countries has less amount of anthropogenic reactions as compared to less developed countries. In the developing countries individual has social sentiments with environment and less establishment of industries, factories and production of waste as compared to less developed countries that is why they have low ecological footprint as compared to less developed country.

Part 2 answer: less developed country have good establishment of all anthropogenic reactions, Industries factories and production units which generates huge amount of waste. Same in the case of developed country, they also have high number of anthropogenic reactions, Industries, factories and production units which generates waste. But developed countries also have waste processing units by which they process toxic or non biodegradable wastes. Developed countries have proper management of waste disposal and treatment. They also have good awareness about environment and Ecology among all of the individual and Groups. The rules and regulations in developed countries are more strict then developing and less developed countries. That is why they have less echological footprint then less developed country.
