Poor and inconsistent pipetting skills will lead to false/negetive results in a genetic testing lab.

Protocols involved in genetic experiment requires solutions and reagents in a significantly low quantity i.e., 1microliter to 1ml.

This reagents can be enzymes, salts, DNA fragments etc. So if the pipetting is poor, it ll lead to addition of more or less quantity and hence can cause false results. E.g., if EcoR1 is required 1 microliter and due to poor pipetting 10 microliter is added then it will fregment DNA at multiple places and can cause failure/ false result of the experiment.
